Fees

North Rocks Preschool is a non-profit organisation and so fees will always reflect the costs of service provision. Fees will be set by the North Rocks Preschool management committee and are invoiced via direct debit on a fortnightly basis.

There is no charge for public holidays or school term breaks.

If your child is sick or the family has an extended holiday, these days are still charged.

North Rocks Preschool receives funding from NSW State Government via the NSW Department of Education/Early Childhood Directorate

These include:

  • Start Strong for the Community Preschools Program - provides funding to deliver affordable quality preschool education for 3-5 year old children enrolled in eligible Community and Mobile Preschools in NSW
  • Fee Relief in Community and Mobile Preschools - In 2023 the NSW Government is committed to ensuring that all children in NSW can participate in 600 hours of quality preschool education. Fee relief funding is scaled by hours of attendance and whether parents allocate their funding to our preschool.

For North Rocks Preschool to remain viable, you may still need to pay a shortfall of fees. This shall be calculated yearly according to the vacancies within our budget and the funding received.

Our current fees for 2024 are:

  • $62.75 per day for 4 year olds and $72.75 per day for 3 year olds.
  • If parents elect North Rocks Preschool to receive the Start Strong Fee Relief payment, the fee would be $10 per day for 4 year olds and $20 per day for 3 year olds. Families can only claim the Fee Relief Payment from one service and must complete a declaration form in order to receive the fee relief.
  • In addition some families are eligible for equity fee relief under the Department of Education and Community Funding guidelines if they are hold a current low income centrelink health care card/pensioner or veterans card, children with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background or children with an additional need or disability. Our current fees for equity are $5 per day.
