We invite you to become as involved as much as you would like to be....

The overall governance and management of North Rocks Preschool is totally undertaken by a parent management committee, a voluntary group of parents who are elected at the Annual General Meeting held each year. The Management Committee is supported by the Director and a team of teaching and administration staff who are dedicated to the efficient day to day operation of the Preschool.

We encourage family involvement within the Preschool so that your child regards preschool as an extension of home. We believe that active parent involvement encourages a sense of community that is at the core of our Preschool. 

We recognise that every family comes to the Preschool with a different set of circumstances, each with different demands, pressures and constraints, therefore we invite parents to become as involved as much or as little as your personal circumstances allow at the time.

Some ways you may like to be involved:

• Reading to the children
• Spending the morning with us, helping with morning tea and craft time
• Helping at fundraising events
• Joining us for Mother's Day morning teas and our annual Father's Night
• Becoming a member of our Management Committee
• Lending a hand for working bee jobs
• Showing us a skill you may have - like a cooking experience or teaching us games from your culture.

You and your family are a very important part of our community based preschool.
